Q. How do I participate in the auction?
A. Bids can be placed in person for those able to attend the live auction. Those unable to attend can place by bids via telephone or by written absentee bid. All bidders must compete the live auction bidder registration form if intending to bid live in the room, via telephone or by written absentee bid. Online bidding registration is available separately.
Q. When should I bid?
A. Absentee bids must be received at least 24 hours before the sale. Telephone bidders must be registered 24 hours before the sale. In-person bidders can register and bid in person on the date of the sale. The auction will begin promptly at the posted start time and lots will be sold in numerical order. The pacing can be quick, so please arrive early to ensure you do not miss the lot you are interested in.
Q. What else can you tell me about the lot I’m interested in?
A. Beyond our printed auction catalog, our interactive online catalog contains additional image galleries of all lots, with additional facts and showcase.
Q. Will there be any premiums added to the hammer price?
A. A Buyer’s Premium of 20% will be added to all winning bids in the live auction. An additional buyer’s expense of 3% will be added to all winning bids made online. All customers within California will be charged sales tax at the prevailing rate (currently 9%). Shipping will be calculated and bidders can select their shipping service during final checkout.
Q: When will I receive my invoice?
A. Invoices will be sent within seven business days of the auction. If you require your invoice earlier than this please contact email@example.com
Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
A. Wire transfer, debit card, credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express), bankers draft, check (depending on buyer’s location) or cash (up to a maximum of $5,000).
A credit card fee of 2% of the aggregate amount of the Hammer Price, Buyer’s Premium and Buyer’s Expenses (plus any sales Tax) will be applied to any invoice settled by credit card.
Paypal is not accepted.
Q. Are you offering Payment Plans for auction wins?
A. Payment plans over a maximum of 3 months are available for any lots with a final hammer price of over $100. Terms and Conditions apply.
Q. Do you ship worldwide?
A. Yes. For many Lots, automatic shipping quotes are available through the button at the top of the listing. Bidders can also email firstname.lastname@example.org for a quote.
Q. Can I combine shipping?
A. We are happy to combine all auction wins into one shipment.
Q. Can you declare my package at a low value to avoid import duty charges?
A. Prop Store must declare all packages at their full value, and the buyer will be responsible for all of the import duties and taxes charged by their local government.
